Sired by Sagittarius, birthed by Gemini. My whole life was do or die.
Damaged brain, insane, brought up dragged by the hair.
Talking to shadows and pretending that I wasn't there.
It takes a toll and I paid it. It took some time, but I made it.
Never thought I'd see twenty, passed that number by plenty.
So as it draws to it's end, I'm thankful for loving friends
who stood by me through my choices, who helped drown out the voices,
but part of that dynamic is me and my journey to be free.
I give and take what I can while in keeping with the plan
but the chaos still astounds me. As it surrounds me,
I laugh and enjoy the ride. You can take my heart but you can't take my pride.
With time I can build it up, I never stopped believing although the acts may be deceiving.
